1920s

The Jazz Age bride celebrated freedom and glamour with dropped waists, loose silhouettes, delicate beading, with art deco embellishments. Wedding dresses often featured long sleeves, veils, and movement that reflected the era’s rebellious energy.

1930s

Bias-cut satin gowns defined the 1930s, creating fluid, body-skimming silhouettes inspired by old Hollywood screen legends. Brides wore cowl necklines, dramatic trains, and elegant draping.

1940s

Wartime wedding dresses were more modest and practical, featuring structured shoulders, high necklines, long sleeves, and minimal embellishments due to fabric rationing. Post war, styles evolved into fuller skirts with feminine details.
