"I bought the Carrie in ivory for my welcome reception at my wedding. The dress is heavy and clearly high quality material. I loved the boning and the pockets! I’m 5’9, 180 lbs, 36D & I ordered the 16 and got it taken in to fit exactly how I wanted. A 14 probably would’ve fit but I wanted to have it tailored for me. If I could go back I would’ve added 2 inches in the length because of my height but it still looked beautiful."
"I LOVE this in person however I had ordered my next size up since my size was sold out and thought I would just need a little taken in but it was SO BIG. I had to return cause I was afraid it would be too big to alter. I’m patiently waiting for my size to be restocked so I can order for my bridal shower."
"I was really happy with this dress overall. The fit was true to the size chart, so I recommend ordering based on your measurements. I'm 5'1", and I had to hem about 4 inches to make it tea length. Before hemming, it fell just past my ankles. The fabric is heavy with a beautiful matte finish, which was exactly what I was looking for. It feels well made, and the pockets are actually functional and large enough to be useful, which was a lovely bonus. My only issue was the zipper. It was extremely stiff the first time I tried the dress on, and I actually had to use a pair of pliers to get it all the way up. Hopefully it loosens with use, but it's something to be aware of. Overall, I'm very pleased with the quality, fit, and look of the dress, and I can't wait to wear it for my wedding!"
