Last week, in a setting high over New York City, Jenny introduced rediscovered glamour, new shapes, original prints, sequins, and luxe fabrications throughout the unveiling of her 2018 collections. Using classic silhouettes and hints of her Hollywood inspiration, she reimagines bridal for the modern woman.
“Every collection is a labor of love and a balancing act created for my customer. She is always looking for a fresh new perspective that is both modern and timeless.” Jenny’s designs this season are fully imagined to create styles that can be worn from wedding to red carpet.
The Bridesmaid collection features a mix of flirtatious new cuts and alluring details designed with the much-anticipated luxe and satin crepes.
While the Jenny Yoo Bridal Collection showcases interesting seaming-details, sculpted in luxurious silk crepe, to create a sleek gown that accentuates a woman’s natural curves, while creating a look that is highly sophisticated and chic.
In Jenny by Jenny Yoo Bridal, we set the stage for the youthful bride to explore innovation, clean lines, and whimsical details while appealing to her playful sensibility. Versatile separates, like the sequin tuxedo jacket and the floral paillette topper, mix effortlessly back to the dramatic taffeta ball skirt or layered over the Swiss dot ball gown, are yet another example of Jenny’s versatility.
The girls enjoyed the day floating around in the Bridesmaid collection featuring a mix of pop colors and playful prints.
This season, the gowns have a strong focus on unexpected details like glass-beaded fringe, decadent chemical laces, and hand-beaded embroideries in clean, modern silhouettes.
We always want to give special thanks to our partners who helped create this special event. Thank you to One Fine Day for hosting the Bridal Market, James Abel for the beautiful decor, the amazing H&M by Team Hair + Makeup, Bauble Bar for providing jewelry, and Marcy Castelgrande for capturing the day.
