Jenny Yoo is the founder and CEO of the Jenny Yoo Collection. With a design philosophy rooted in simplicity and thoughtful detail, Jenny has built a design house that speaks to women seeking timeless style with a modern point of view.
Jenny was born outside Philadelphia, Pennsylvania along with her younger sister and brother who today have prominent roles and are a constant support at Jenny Yoo Collection. Graduating from the Parsons School of Design, Jenny trained at Ann Taylor early on in her career where she was inspired by the contemporary woman searching for the alternative or “anti” bridesmaid dress.
The company began in 2002 via Jenny’s NYC apartment. Jenny worked tirelessly to execute her debut collection and prepare a studio to leave her mark on the bridal industry. After opening showrooms in NYC, LA, and Chicago, the Jenny Yoo Collection bridal line was born, stemming from numerous wedding dress design requests. Throughout the next decade, Jenny got married, had two beautiful children and launched the Jenny by Jenny Yoo bridal collection in 2016.
In recent years, the sought-after Jenny Yoo Little White Dress collection and bridal accessory additions allow for creating dresses that balance beauty and wearability. Jenny’s presence as CEO is felt by a dedicated team who leads by her collaborative example.
